Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Summer Intern  to join our team and gain hands-on experience supporting a dynamic Human Resources department. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a professional setting while contributing to meaningful HR initiatives that impact our employees, culture, and company success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Immerse Yourself in Company Culture: Embrace and promote our values while working alongside the HR team in supporting key initiatives.
  • HR Systems & Data Management: Gain exposure to core HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS). Assist with data entry, personnel file updates, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Talent Acquisition Support:
    • Coordinate interview schedules and candidate communications.
    • Assist with onboarding tasks including sending welcome materials and new hire forms.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping:
    • Support efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., OFCCP tracking).
    • Assist with audits and records retention activities.
  • Training & Events Coordination: Help plan logistics and materials for HR trainings, meetings, and team events.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in problem-solving activities and offer ideas that enhance team effectiveness and HR services.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide assistance with day-to-day tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with MS SharePoint, ADP systems is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and a strong interest in growing a career in HR.
