Responsibilities

• Oversee all materials-related activities, including planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures for materials management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Train, mentor, and supervise materials team members.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in materials management within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office and materials management software.
• Flexibility to work in non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
