Our centralized team specializes in developing mixed signal IPs, including clocking, PLLs, and security circuits, integral to Intel's diverse product portfolio from Client to Data Center. We are a collaborative group of hardware design and validation engineers, skilled in both logic and analog domains, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering excellence across all Intel products. **Who You Are** + Performs functional verification of IP logic to ensure design meets specification requirements. + Develops IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage to confirm microarchitecture specifications. + Executes verification plans and defines and runs system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs. + Replicates, root causes, and debugs issues in the presilicon environment. + Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests. + Collaborates with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features. + Documents test plans and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams. + Maintains and improves existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology. + Participates in the definition of verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification. **Qualifications:** You must possess the minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering + 1+ years of experience in RTL logic design and micro architecture experience + 1+ years of experience in power management hardware and firmware design/support + 1+ years' experience with test-benches, simulation, validation and modeling theory is a plus + 1+ years' experience with C and perl programming skills are plus **Preferred Qualifications** Your responsibilities are as follow but not limited to: + Knowledge and fundamentals in Logic design, computer architecture and VLSI design concepts + Knowledge in system verilog language and other simulation tools like VCS3+ years of power management hardware and firmware design/support **Job Type:** Experienced Hire **Shift:** Shift 1 (United States of America) **Primary Location:** US, Oregon, Hillsboro **Additional Locations:** US, California, Folsom **Business group:** The Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) is at the heart of Intel's transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
