Under the general supervision of a Tax Administrator I, the Senior Tax Compliance Representative (STCR) will serve as an analyst in the Publication and Marketing Services Group (PMSG), responsible for the revision and maintenance of Tax Branch guides, newsletters and Department Notices. PMSG analysts also coordinate the updates of Tax Branch handbooks and develops and make revisions to new forms. PMSG analyst acts as a liaison to tax organizations such as the Small Business Employers Advisory Committee, California Society of Enrolled Agents, Fed/State Steering Committee, and other external organizations. The analyst acts as the single point of contact for all Tax Branch related web content on EDD's website as well as the contact for the California Tax Service Center.

The STCR must have experience exercising excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrate a high level of performance, and ensure goals and timeliness is met.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. California Government Code Section 14200 requires employees to reside in California to telecommute. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
