As a **Security Officer - Government Location** in **Salinas, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your duties include conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position values agility, reliability, and innovation, with a focus on teamwork and integrity. A guard card or license is preferred, and customer service experience is advantageous. **Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated area and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ California Security Professional Guard Card required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
