Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States. This senior-level role combines strategic project management with client engagement, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will guide a talented team of engineers and designers, utilizing expertise in PVSyst and other modeling software to deliver high-quality power generation solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing renewable energy initiatives, contributing to projects in Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all stages of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from initial planning and design through to implementation and final delivery.
Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction at the senior level.
Lead and mentor a team of technical engineers and designers, guiding them through the design process and helping them utilize PVSyst and other advanced modeling software effectively.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources strategically to maintain efficiency and meet project timelines.
Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with client and organizational objectives.
Provide thought leadership in the renewable energy sector, contributing to initiatives in Solar, Wind, and BESS, and sharing best practices across teams.
Identify and mitigate project risks, providing innovative solutions to challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience managing utility-scale Solar PV projects, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
Strong client-facing experience, skilled at managing high-level client relationships across multiple projects.
Proficiency in PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and developing technical teams.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
